Risk assessment.
Before I take any of my photos, I think its important to produce a risk assessment to take into consideration the types of hazards that could occur in particular locations. By doing this, it allows me to understand the risks that could occur, before doing the actual exercise and will help me to think about these risks on the day of taking the pictures. It also helps towards keeping my model safe in the location.

When taking my pictures, I will taking them in white backgrounded areas in my school so I will have to think about the types of hazards that may occur. The only white clear backgrounded place that I could find in the school was the white drop on the stage, which also had artificial lighting and also natural lighting from the windows.

The stage is located in the schools hall, where the canteen is as well. I had to consider this, as the area could become a hazard to myself and my model as there could be food or drinks that have been spilt on the floor. So before taking my pictures, I will have to inspect and the area to make sure it is safe.

Also, most of the time the hall is not very warm and as I have decided that my model will look sexy to suit my chosen genre by wearing clothes, like a dress, shorts or a skirt, I will have to make sure that she keeps herself warm while I am not taking the pictues. This can involved bringing other clothing for her, for examples joggers and a hoodie so she can quickly bung them on or take them off without any trouble.

My chosen location also has artificial lighting, which I can change and control. However, I have never used them before so will have to make sure I get correct help on what to do, before using it and taking any pictures. This piece of technology also has wires and is supported by electricity in order for it to work, this means that I will have to be extra careful whilst using it and make sure I no exactly how I use it before controling it. I will also have to take into consideration if anyone goes near this piece of equipment who are not meant too, to tell them it is a hazardous area where they could trip over wiring that they may not notice.
